မိတ္ေဟာင္းေဆြေဟာင္းေတြနဲ႕ အဆက္အသြယ္ မျပတ္ေအာင္ ေနတာ ေကာင္းတယ္။

• Woman: Hey! Hello there! Haven’t seen you in ages!
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - ေဟး၊ အဲဒီက ဟယ္လို။ မေတြ႕တာၾကာလွၿပီေနာ္။
  Man: Oh… all right yeah.
  အမ်ိဳးသား - ဟင္ ... ဟုတ္တယ္ ဟုတ္တယ္။
• Woman: Great to see you again! You’re looking really well!
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - ျပန္ေတြ႕ရတာ ေကာင္းလိုက္တာ။ အေျခအေနအရမ္းေကာင္းေနတဲ့ ပံုဘဲ။
  Man: Oh! You think so? Thanks...
  အမ်ိဳးသား - အင္း။ ဟုတ္လား။ ေက်းဇူးဘဲ ...

• Woman: So, how are you?
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - အင္း၊ အေျခအေန ဘယ္လိုလဲ။
  Man: Well, you know, mustn’t grumble.
  အမ်ိဳးသား - ဟိုေလ၊ သိတယ္မဟုတ္လား၊ ညည္းေနလို႕ မျဖစ္ဘူး။

• Woman: What’ve you been up to? Still working in that coffee shop?
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - ဘာေတြလုပ္ေနလဲ။ အရင္ေကာ္ဖီဆုိင္မွာ လုပ္ေနတုန္းဘဲလား။
  Man: Yeah...same one...
  အမ်ိဳးသား - ဟုတ္တယ္ ... အဲဒီဆုိင္မွာဘဲ ...

• Woman: Still trying to be an actor?
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - မင္းသားျဖစ္ဖို႕ ႀကိဳးစားတုန္းဘဲလား။
  Man: Well, yeah, you know...
  အမ်ိဳးသား - အင္း၊ ဟုတ္တယ္၊ သိတယ္မဟုတ္လား။

• Woman: So Hollywood hasn’t called in yet?
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - ေဟာလီး၀ုဒ္က လာမေခၚေသးဘူးေပါ့။
  Man: Not yet...
  အမ်ိဳးသား - မေခၚေသးဘူး။

• Woman: Still living in…that …er…little flat?
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - အဲဒီ ဟုိ အခန္းေလးမွာဘဲ ေနတံုးဘဲလား။
  Man: Yeah. Same one.
  အမ်ိဳးသား - ဟုတ္တယ္။ အဲဒီအခန္းမွာဘဲ။

• Woman: Well, great.
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - အင္း။ ဟုတ္ၿပီ။
  Man: How about you? You still there…working in the fast food place?
  အမ်ိဳးသား - မင္းကေရာ။ မင္းကေရာ အဲဒီ ဟမ္ဘာဂါဆိုင္မွာ လုပ္တံုးဘဲလား။

• Woman: No! Stopped that a long time ago! I’m working in the city now, financial industries!
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - မလုပ္ေတာ့ဘူး။ မလုပ္ေတာ့တာ ၾကာလွၿပီ။ အခု ၿမိဳ႕ထဲမွာ လုပ္ေနတယ္။ ဘ႑ာေရး လုပ္ငန္းေပါ့။
  Man: Oh. Great. Are you still sharing that house with all those other people?
  အမ်ိဳးသား - ေၾသာ္၊ သိပ္ေကာင္းတာေပါ့။ အဲဒီအိမ္မွာဘဲ လူေတြအမ်ားႀကီးနဲ႕ အတူ ငွားေနတံုးဘဲလား။

• Woman: No way! I bought a big house with… four bedrooms, and a garden… the works.
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - ဘယ္ကလာ။ အိမ္အႀကီးႀကီးတစ္လံုး ၀ယ္လိုက္ၿပီ၊ အိပ္ခန္း ၄ခန္း၊ ပန္းျခံေလးနဲ႕ ... အလုပ္သမား႐ံုကေလးလည္း ပါတယ္။
  Man: Hmm…good for you.
  အမ်ိဳးသား - အင္း ... ေကာင္းတာေပါ့။

• Woman: Listen! We should get together for a drink sometime! Catch up!
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - ေနပါဦး။ တစ္ေန႕ေလာက္ ခ်ိန္းၿပီး တစ္ခုခု ေသာက္ရေအာင္။
  Man: Yeah, I’d love to.
  အမ်ိဳးသား - ဟုတ္တာေပါ့။ သိပ္ေကာင္းတယ္။
  Woman: Let’s do it! Keep in touch then!
  အမ်ိဳးသမီး - ခ်ိန္းလိုက္မယ္ေလ။ ဒါဆို အဆက္အသြယ္ မျပတ္နဲ႕ေနာ္။
